Community Plan
The Harris Ranch family feels strongly that community involvement is critical to the success of their vision. In April of 2006, representatives from seven neighborhoods attended many charrettes. The Idaho Conservation League, Idaho Fish and Game, Boise Parks and Recreation, Ada County Parks, Idaho Power, Boise Planning and Development Services and other agencies all participated in the process.
Throughout the charette process with the Owners, Stakeholders, a clear vision for the preferred future for Harris Ranch evolved. The vision is one of pedestrian-oriented public streets, plazas, greens, riverfront walks and pathways. Mixed-use shop-front buildings will line the streets and shape the historic-like community.
